We build local service businesses a website that actually gets found, a back office that runs the day, and an app that puts it all in your team's pocket.
Salons, dental practices, electricians, garages, vets, opticians, roofers, cleaners, physios, driving instructors, decorators. If people ring you or book you, this is built for you.
Somebody needs booking in today. They ring three places. The first one to answer gets the work. If you were with a customer, mid-treatment or under a bonnet, you were never in the running, and you will never find out it happened.
Most places will sell you a website and leave you to it. You end up with a nice page and the same notebook, the same missed calls and the same evenings doing paperwork. These four are built as one system, so the enquiry that comes in through your site is already a job on your screen.
Built properly, not dragged together in a template builder. Fast, right on a phone, and written around the towns you actually cover. Set up so Google, and the AI assistants people now ask instead of Google, can tell exactly what you do and where you do it.
All the Google side set up for you, on your own Google account: your Business Profile, Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console. You see exactly how many people found you and rang. It is yours from day one and it stays yours whatever happens between us.
Built in as standard: structured data so search engines and AI assistants read your business correctly, your customer reviews on the page, accessibility so it works for people who cannot use a mouse, and your privacy, terms and cookie banner written to meet UK rules.
Not a contact form and a spreadsheet. A proper system you log into: every enquiry, every booking, every job, every reminder, with a history of who did what and when. A roofer and a dental practice do not get handed the same screens.
Whoever is away from the desk sees their jobs, the address, what needs doing and the customer's history, and marks work done on the spot. It installs on the phone like any other app and keeps working when the signal drops.
We photograph your work, your premises and your team, properly, with a real camera. Most local business websites are let down by four dark phone pictures, and no amount of good design rescues that. We are photographers. Nobody else round here can say that.
Nobody else offers this
Google ranks the map on three things, and it says so itself: how well you match the search, how far you are from the person searching, and how well known you are.
A complete profile, the right category, every service listed, and pages on your site that genuinely match what people type. We move this first.
Reviews, and other sites linking to and mentioning you. Google names both. Slower, and it keeps building.
Nobody can change this, including us. Anyone who tells you they can move your business closer to more people is describing something that gets your profile suspended.
From points right across the area you cover, not from your own front door. Checking from your own address is the flattering way to do it and it tells you nothing.
This is why you can be top of the map in your own street and nowhere three miles away, at the same moment, for the same search. We will not promise you appear everywhere, because that is not a thing anyone can sell. What we do is widen the patch where you show up on the map, and show you it before and after so you can watch it spread.
Not theory. We run Google Ads for our own local service company, with our own money, in this part of the country. It is the one thing here we were doing before we ever sold it.
Opened in your name, on your card, and we manage it alongside everything else. Google itself recommends it that way. If you leave, you keep the account and everything it has learned, which is the part that actually makes it work.
That covers ad spend up to £1,500 a month. Above that it moves to 10% of your spend, and we tell you before it does, not after. The setup is free on Growth and Full.
You pay Google, we never touch it and we never mark it up. You set the budget, you can see every penny of it, and you can stop whenever you like. If we do not think ads are worth it for you yet, we will say so.
Whatever you have now, you keep it. We point it at the new site. You do not tell customers you have changed address, because you have not.
This is where most rebuilds go wrong and it is not recoverable. We write down every one of your existing mail settings before we touch anything, put them back, and check mail is still flowing after the switch.
We check what your current site already ranks for and keep it. Every page that moves gets a redirect to its replacement, so Google follows you across instead of starting you from nothing.
No fiddling inside somebody else's WordPress or Wix. We build fresh, get it right, and switch over when it is ready. Your current site stays up the whole time.
Everyone is selling AI to small businesses at the moment, and most of it is a solution looking for a problem. So it is not baked into the plans above to pad out a table. It is a separate job, quoted on its own, after a conversation about what is actually costing you money.
Some of it is a one-off to set up and then it just runs. Some of it carries a small monthly cost, because answering calls and sending texts costs real money every time it happens. We tell you which is which before you decide.
You have seen this before. The trades who got a proper website took the work off the ones who thought they did not need one, and the ones who held out spent the next five years wondering why the phone went quiet.
This is that again, and it is happening faster. Somebody in your town is already answering at nine on a Sunday night while you are ringing people back on Monday morning. The customer does not know why they picked them. They just got an answer first.
You do not have to do all of it. You do have to start, because the gap does not close, it widens, and the businesses that leave it too long do not catch up. They get bought or they get quiet.
Review requests, email automation, follow-ups and reminders. You pay to have it built and wired into your site and your back office, and after that there is nothing more to pay.
Call answering and text-back cost money every time they run, because phone minutes and text messages are not free. You pay to have it built, then the running cost at what it costs us, itemised. No markup hidden in a round number.
We will not sell you something we have not built and watched work. If it will not earn its keep for your business, we will tell you before you pay for it, not after.
Everything above is packaged for local trades because that is who most of it suits. The AI work is not limited to them, and it is not limited by size. If you run a larger business and you want AI actually built into how the work gets done, rather than a chatbot bolted on the front, that is a project we scope and quote, not a plan you pick off a list.
The jobs that eat people's weeks: quoting, chasing, scheduling, reporting, getting information out of documents, answering the same question two hundred times, and moving data between systems that were never meant to talk to each other.
We find the one process costing you the most, build that first, and prove it before anything else is agreed. No twelve month discovery phase, and nothing signed off on a slide.
If a piece of it is new to us, you will be told that before you spend anything, along with what we have built and run already. That is the whole basis on which we would want you to trust the rest.
There is no price list for this and there should not be, because no two are the same. Tell us what the problem is and we will tell you what it takes to fix it.
Log in from the desk, your team works off their phones, and nothing important lives in somebody's head or on a scrap of paper.
Every plan gets worked on every month, including the cheapest one. We do not build you a website, take the money and disappear.
The web agency cannot build the AI. The AI agency does not want to build your website, sort your Google listing, or turn up and photograph your work. So you end up managing both, and they blame each other.
| A web agency | An AI agency | Foothold AI | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your website | yes | no | yes |
| Local SEO and your Google listing | yes | no | yes |
| A back office that runs the work | no | sometimes | yes |
| An app for your team's phones | no | no | yes |
| Photographs of your actual work | no | no | yes |
| AI built into how you work | no | yes | yes |
One person who understands both ends of it, so nothing falls down the gap in the middle and there is nobody to point at when something does.
Your domain, and every Google account we set up: Business Profile, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console. All in your name from day one, with us only as a manager. That is our written policy, not a favour, and it means none of it moves or gets lost if you ever go elsewhere.
Rolling monthly. If you go, we hand over the code, a full export of your data and the accounts, and your website keeps working. The back office and the app need a database and hosting to run, which are paid services, so those become your bill or they stop. Either way you keep every byte of your data. We would rather tell you that now than on your way out.
If something will not earn its keep for your business, we will tell you before you pay for it, not after.
Answer a few questions and we will tell you honestly whether we can help and what it would cost. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
